Senior Manager, Commercial Execution - International Wealth & Premier Banking

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Commercial Execution, IWPB Asia.

This role is an important member of the International Wealth & Premier BAnking (IWPB) Asia Commercial Execution team, supporting the team in driving the design of strategic initiatives across the Region and their execution roadmaps, as well as supporting the markets and/or products with market reviews and deep dives. The role holder will coordinate the execution of priority initiatives for the Region, such as partnerships, collaboration and strategic actions.

In this role you will:

• Support to formulate the strategic priorities for IWPB (International Wealth and Premier Banking Business) Asia, and to drive the execution of strategic projects for the Region and local markets.
• Prepare or support the preparation of strategy related content for various Board and senior management meetings. Develop critical analysis and competitor benchmarking to facilitate management decision.
• Support the deployment of commercial strategy and initiatives to maximize business outcome, including but not limited to affluent customer growth, channel diversification, wealth penetration, international connectivity, cross border service and partnership development, etc.
• Promote the collaboration agenda within IWPB as well as with home market and other LOBs. Drive the business development, project management, operation readiness as well as performance tracking to support the delivery of business goals with speed to market.
• Support Group Strategy for special projects, including the coordination and administrative processes where needed.
• Influence and champion progress via strong individual leadership. Nurture excellent and productive relationships with stakeholders across the wider community.
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards and follow compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures. Maintaining integrity and fairness towards customers.

To be successful you will need:

• Advanced experience in strategy formulation, execution roadmap design and implementation
• Proven ability in customer segment management and/or cross-border banking services development
• Market experience in relevant business lines i.e consumer banking, wealth, private banking is preferred. Digital experience and capabilities will be valued
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with well developed project management skills and proven track record in working in multi-function projects
• Experience in stakeholder management at senior level across the HSBC Group or a comparable organization. Significant interpersonal skills and ability to navigate and build relationships across different sets of stakeholders
• A strong sense of team spirit and collaboration. Culturally sensitive with experience with multi-geography teams
