PURPOSE

• Lead multiple QA projects across all the markets for Omne OneMod.
• Establish and manage project governance and risk management.
• Oversee cross-team coordination resource alignment and delivery excellence in defined timelines.
• Ensure the business, application, data and technology developments are aligned with the business requirements direction through quality assurance and testing.
• Ensure quality objectives are achieved during the process of delivery of regional consumer mobile Apps and operations platform
• Mitigate the risks associated with releasing technical issues into the production environment and proactively prevent negative impact to the internal and external users.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Develop and execute QA strategies that align with business objectives for automation and manual testing
• Build reusable test assets and scalable automation frameworks
• Collaborate with Agile DevOps teams, developers, Group IT, and business units to embed quality into every stage of delivery
• Design mitigation strategies to avoid defect leakage.
• Lead defect root cause analysis and apply automation to reduce defect recurrence
• Own the full test lifecycle: risk analysis, estimation, planning, monitoring, issue management, and reporting
• Ensure quality standards and procedures are followed across teams.
• Own non-functional QA process and audits within the defined boundary and scope of the program

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead all the Test Management activities (i.e. Risk Analysis, Test estimation, test planning, Test Monitoring & Control, Issue Management, Test Report and Evaluation)
• Owning the full test lifecycle including:
  • Risk analysis
  • Test estimation and planning
  • Monitoring and control
  • Issue management
  • Reporting and evaluation
• Preventing reputational damage and customer dissatisfaction by ensuring defect-free releases
• Working closely with Agile DevOps teams, developers, Group IT, and business units to embed quality into every stage of delivery.
• Chairing UAT meetings and defect resolution sessions across functions and geographies follow up the pending validation test cases and status update to the team as well as to provide guidance/support to resolve the problems
• Articulate and explain processes and outcomes to all Tech leaders and developers, engage and negotiate and influence using the right processes and testing tools.
• Designing and maintaining standardized templates for test case and defect management (e.g., Jira dashboards).
• Ensuring consistent application of QA standards across program and compliance with audit requirements.
• Uphold regulatory compliance and governance standards.
• Be personally liable for breaches of insurance regulations.
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality assurance services across departments

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field
• At least 10 years experience as development quality assurance or senior automation test specialist for native app development for multi countries markets
• Experience with multi-location, multi-country product launch
• Experience in CICD & Agile work management
• Experience on leading a multi-country, multi project team of 10+ members

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS

Technical Knowledge

• Strong technical background in cloud and distributed technologies
• Structured decision making and problem-solving skills
• Proficient understanding in QA methodology and Process
• Expertise in Project management, Program Management and Technical delivery
• Expertise in Project Risk management
• Skilled in non-functional QA, including application and cyber security.

Technical and Testing Skills

• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
• Strong experience with automation testing
• Deep understanding of digital trends and digital insights aligning with architecture and infra operations perspectives
• frameworks Selenium/Webdriver/TestNG
• Proficient with at least one of the following types of databases - Relational or NoSQL
• Databases (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB)
• Experience with server-side load and performance testing tools such as jMeter
• Experience with non-functional testing like web product security, page accessibility and client side page speed
• Familiarity with mobile operating systems like iOS, Android
• Familiarity with mobile application testing tools, emulators, and mobile application development environment.
• Familiarity with mobile automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso, etc.
• Experience with test modeling, test design and test reporting
