Job Description - Senior Merchandiser (Ladieswear Denim / Tailoring and Outerwear)

Responsibilities




  • Handle and monitor the entire process from development to shipment for all product groups

  • Responsible for sourcing of products and vendors

  • Support the suppliers in product development and source new fabric, trim and shapes, ensure the suppliers to develop new version of best sold styles

  • Price negotiation, manage capacity planning and production lead time with suppliers

  • Order follow up and coordination, make sure the orders are carried out based on the agreement between buyer and supplier

  • Supplier management, enhance the maturity level of suppliers, train and guide the suppliers according to company requirements

  • Work closely with support team for quality inspection and chemical requirements, ensure claim handling in a proper and professional way

  • Liaising with overseas clients and closely monitor delivery status



    • Requirements




  • DSE / Form 5 or above

  • Minimum 10 years merchandising experience in trading or buying office preferable

  • With product knowledge of Denim / Tailoring and Outerwear 

  • Excellent in orders follow-up and negotiation skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently

  • Multi-tasking, strong in prioritization and problem solving

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, proactive, outgoing and good team player

  • Fluent in spoken & written English, Mandarin and Cantonese

  • Immediate Available Preferred
