Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform processing of import L/C and L/G issuance.
• Handle the assigned trade functions in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Provide professional opinions to trade customers.
• Perform other duties as delegated.

Requirements:

• Secondary education or above preferred
• 5 years of experience in trade finance operations with at least 2 years in Import L/C processing
• Solid knowledge in trade products including Documentary Credit and Letter of Guarantee
• Solid skill and practical trade operational experience, particularly on import L/C and L/G issuance, in order to ensure import trade transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
