Senior Operations Associate - High Frequency Trading Firm

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the firm's trade lifecycle processes, including trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute resolution

- Monitor and optimize trading infrastructure performance to support high-volume, low-latency trading

- Oversee the preparation and review of daily P&L, risk, and other operational reports

- Serve as a subject matter expert for trading operations, providing guidance and training to more junior team members

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and scalability

- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex operational issues and mitigate risks

- Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, exchanges, and other industry partners

- Ensure all operations activities adhere to firm policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in a senior operations role at a high-frequency or electronic trading firm

- Deep understanding of equity, futures, and/or FX trading operations workflows

- Proficient in SQL, Python & VBA 

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities

- Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and operational risk management

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
