About the Job

The Senior Operations Executive is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency, meeting project deadlines, and driving the overall success of the department and organization. This position plays a key role in representing HJ and collaborating with IT business partners on diverse digitalization initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Operations Executive provides essential support for day-to-day office and store counter operations, offers administrative assistance to senior executives, and takes charge of staff-related arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

Departmental IT Projects:

  • Identify and understand the requirements for departmental IT projects. Work closely with the IT business partner to ensure timely and satisfactory project delivery according to the agreed plan.

Office Management:

  • Assist in overseeing office operations and services.
  • Monitor the departmental budget and ensure activities remain on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate office activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in managing office renovation processes and assist in FF&E sourcing.
  • Provide administrative assistance to senior executives, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and handling ad hoc tasks.

Retail and Event Operations:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth operations at HJ Counters in main stores.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient store management.
  • Assist in event logistics, including back-of-the-house setup.

Staff-related Arrangements:

  • Manage logistics for staff onboarding and offboarding as communicated within the Group.
  • Organize and plan staff engagement activities in alignment with CTFJ practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree holder in any discipline.
  • 3-5 years' experience in administrative roles and work experience in retail management is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, multi-task and able to work independently.
  • Proactive and solutions driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good team player with positive mind-set and the ability to deliver efficient working outcomes and overcome challenges under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) or other related applications.
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
