Senior Product Manager, Institutional

Role Overview

The Senior Product Manager for Custody will be responsible for leading the product strategy and development of our custody solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of digital asset custody services. The ideal candidate will have experience in fintech or financial services and a proven track record of successfully managing and launching complex products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy: Develop and execute the product roadmap for custody services, aligning with business objectives and market demands.


• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends, using insights to drive product innovation and differentiation.


• Product Development: Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and launch of new custody features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.


• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, compliance, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product requirements are met and align with regulatory standards.


• User Experience: Continuously improve user experience by analyzing customer feedback, identifying pain points, and implementing solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.


• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize product performance and inform future development efforts.


• Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on digital asset custody or related financial services. Experience in fintech is highly desirable.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.


• Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of digital asset custody, blockchain technology, and security protocols.


• Project Management: Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex products on time.


• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.


• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


• Language Skills: Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-On Developer Experience: Prior experience as a developer, which aids in understanding technical challenges and facilitating better communication with engineering teams.


• Traditional Finance (TradeFi) Experience: Understanding of traditional financial systems and products, which can enhance product innovation and market positioning.
