SENIOR PRODUCT OWNER / BA FX STRUCTURED PRODUCTS

We are currently expanding our derivatives vertical and looking for a specialist to lead a high-impact greenfield initiative.

The Role:

We are building a new FX Structured Products execution and pricing module from scratch. This includes complex instruments such as DCN Options, TARFs, and Pivots.

We need someone who can:

• Bridge the gap between structured product engineering and elegant trading technology.
• Lead product strategy while staying deeply hands-on with requirements, workflows, and technical execution.
• Own the full lifecycle—from pre-trade RFQ design to post-trade event processing.

What You'll Actually Do:

• Define & Prioritize: Shape the product roadmap and feature backlog. Decide what gets built and when.
• Design User Journeys: Create intuitive UI mockups and workflow diagrams for price requests, order execution, and real-time position management.
• Map the Entire Lifecycle: Engineer end-to-end trade flows—covering pricing, execution, allocations, confirmations, and corporate actions.
• Write Crystal-Clear Specs: Break down complex logic into detailed user stories in Jira. Lead Agile ceremonies and keep delivery on track.
• Lead the Tech Conversation: Partner closely with developers and DevOps. Guide architectural decisions and challenge technical trade-offs to ensure a high-performance, scalable solution.

Who You Are (The Must-Haves):

• FX Derivative Native: 7–8+ years working directly with FX Options, TARFs, Pivots, or similar structured products. You know the mechanics, the pricing nuances, and the institutional workflows inside out.
• Tech-Savvy Product Leader: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Lead BA, or Product Manager inside an Agile engineering environment. You don't just write tickets—you understand the underlying system logic.
• UX-Driven Thinker: You have designed or significantly influenced the UI/UX of a B2B financial trading platform (single-dealer, multi-dealer, or institutional investment tools). You instinctively know what makes a workflow smooth or clunky.
• Tooling: Jira is your second home.
• Leadership Presence: You can drive a cross-functional team from vague requirements to polished implementation. You push back when necessary and align stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-Solving DNA: Highly analytical, deeply curious, and not afraid to get your hands dirty in the details.
• Bonus: Familiarity with the FIX protocol is a distinct advantage.
• Academic Background: We tend to see exceptional analytical discipline from graduates of top-tier institutions like HKUST—but talent trumps pedigree.
