Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a focus on construction management to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices. The Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Initiation:
Develop project plans, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate potential risks and challenges. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives. Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans. Project Execution and Management:
Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction project, including procurement, scheduling, and quality control. Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications. Manage and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams. Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to address design modifications, technical challenges, and change orders. Facilitate effective communication among project team members and stakeholders. Budgeting and Cost Control:
Develop and maintain project budgets, monitoring expenses and cost variations throughout the project lifecycle. Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions. Review and approve invoices, change orders, and payment requests. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project financials to management. Quality Assurance and Compliance: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure construction meets industry standards and project requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, regulations, and safety protocols. Mitigate risks and address any non-compliance or safety concerns promptly. Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with stakeholders. Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities. Resolve conflicts and negotiate changes in project scope, schedules, or budgets. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring their satisfaction Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on managing Building projects or A&A works. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
