Senior Relationship Manager

The Trading Services team is responsible for the setup and integration of internal and external trading teams onto the Millennium platform. We are seeking an experienced professional to work across the Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and Quant Strategies business lines. The role includes partnering with senior portfolio managers to understand their requirements, co-ordinating across the firm on areas requiring new solutions, and project managing the onboarding & integration activities to enable the manager to start trading. The role involves collaboration with a wide variety of trading teams in Asia and globally, including new internal teams, new external startup funds and existing teams both internal and external.
 
Principal Responsibilities
1.    Planning, co-ordination and organization of onboarding activities across the firm, including providing senior stakeholder communications
2.    Understanding portfolio manager requirements and working with Technology, Operations, Risk, Execution, Compliance, Legal, HR and other teams across the firm to implement those requirements
3.    Understanding the Millennium platform in detail and providing guidance and advice to portfolio managers (internal and external) to maximize platform leverage and implement optimal solutions
4.    Assist and providing input on strategic initiatives such as new strategies, products and markets
 
Qualifications/Skills Required
1.    12+ years’ experience working at financial services firms, preferably at a hedge fund or in prime brokerage
2.    Detailed knowledge of Asia market structure, including execution flows, trading strategies and systems, Separately Managed Account structures and operational processes of a hedge fund or broker
3.    Detail-orientated, with strong organizational skills, project management experience, and an ability to clearly articulate status updates and next steps
4.    Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities
5.    A highly analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
