DAVID C. LAM INSTITUTE FOR EAST-WEST STUDIES (LEWI) was established in 1993 with the aim to foster interdisciplinary social sciences and humanities research and cultivate collaborative scholarship between the East and the West. LEWI is (1) a research consortium of 28 universities from North America, Europe and Asia; (2) a research centre conducting world-leading research in global studies, and (3) a research umbrella organisation with four affiliated research centres.

LEWI is seeking self-motivated, self-directed, and service-oriented team players to provide research and administrative support to multiple interdisciplinary projects.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one year commencing in April 2026. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
