Commercial Banking - Corporate Banking

Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.

For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Service Support Officer.
Principal responsibilities
  • Perform system data input and administrative support for credit applications submitted by Relationship Managers (RM).
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of credit application data in accordance with internal guidelines and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide consistent administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers throughout the credit application process.
  • Assist in monitoring, checking, and gatekeeping credit-related documentation and internal policy requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams to follow up on missing information, system issues, or process-related enquiries.
  • Support implementation of new or updated credit-related and internal policies by assisting in communication and reminders to Relationship Managers.
  • Proactively identify simple process gaps or data issues and escalate appropriately to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Undertake all required activities as directed by line manager or as agreed in annual goals in support of the development of Corporate Banking.
Requirements
  • Diploma or above in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Proven years of experience in banking, preferably in commercial banking or credit administration.
  • Strong PC user with good MS Office or Excel skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret numeric data, maintain focus while working with voluminous data
  • Understanding in bills operations, credit system, credit approval and related documentation procedures an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and data checking skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with and relate to a wide range of people.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
