Job Title: Senior Java Developer – Electronic Trading (Front Office)

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to play a key role in driving our transformation into an agile, innovation -led organization. This role focuses on building robust, scalable, and low -latency trading systems within a front -office environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders and global teams to deliver high -performance electronic trading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end -to -end development lifecycle, including design, development, and delivery of latency -sensitive trading systems
  
• Design and implement high -performance, scalable Java -based server applications for electronic trading
  
• Collaborate closely with front -office business users to translate complex trading and regulatory requirements into technical solutions
  
• Develop and support real -time trading and quoting applications with a strong focus on performance and reliability
  
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including code quality, security, scalability, and compliance
  
• Build observability and monitoring solutions to ensure production stability and proactively address system issues
  
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
  
• Work in a global agile setup, collaborating with distributed teams to enhance trading platforms
  
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence initiatives
  

Team Overview

You will be part of a global agile organization aligned to product -based delivery. The role sits within the Equity Derivatives Quoting team, contributing to the development and support of automated electronic trading applications. You will collaborate closely with front -office stakeholders and global technology teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in trading or financial services domain
  
• Strong expertise in Core Java, multithreading, and low -latency system design
  
• Experience working in a front -office or business -facing environment
  
• Hands -on experience with real -time trading platforms or market connectivity systems
  
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system architecture
  
• Experience in production support, monitoring tools, and incident management
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with business stakeholders
  
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast -paced, high -pressure environment
  
• Experience in mentoring or leading small teams
