Senior System Administrator/Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments
• Monitor and manage system performance, implementing adjustments and upgrades as needed
• Oversee the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, deploying, managing, and optimizing clusters
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the server and OpenShift environments
• Maintain security protocols for the server systems and within the OpenShift platform, working alongside the security team
• Automate processes and manage containerized applications, focusing on Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Execute capacity planning and contribute to disaster recovery strategies
• Document system setup, processes, and maintain a healthy system status through regular reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with Linux-based systems and server administration
• Red Hat OpenShift administration certification is highly preferred
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Perl
• Strong understanding of system security operations, including intrusion detection and data backup/recovery
• Experience with network infrastructure, application stacks, and performance tuning
• Strong desire to learn new technologies with a positive attitude
• Can communicate in both technical and general context
• Good command of both written & spoken English
• Average command of both written & spoken Mandarin
