Senior Vice President, Platform & Infrastructure, Post Trade

Job Summary:
This role will provide strategic leadership and enterprise oversight of Post Trade platform and infrastructure initiatives across the HKEX Group's clearing houses, including HKSCC, HKCC, and SEOCH.
And it is responsible for driving infrastructure transformation, operational readiness, governance excellence, and regulatory compliance, while supporting major system upgrades, new platform introductions, new product launches, and ongoing business growth.
As a senior leader within Post Trade, the role works closely with executive management, regulators, and key stakeholders to ensure Post Trade infrastructure capabilities continue to meet regulatory expectations, international standards, and long term strategic objectives.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the Post Trade platform and infrastructure roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee major system upgrades, platform enhancements, and new system implementations, including testing, cutover, and stabilisation. Ensure operational readiness, resilience and service stability, including effective migration, parallel run, and contingency arrangements.
• Support new product launches and strategic initiatives by ensuring end-to-end infrastructure and operational preparedness.
• Lead governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management activities for Post Trade Platform & Infrastructure. Act as a senior point of contact for regulatory engagement, audits, and supervisory reviews relating to post trade infrastructure.
• Provide oversight of financial management, change portfolio planning, and management information. Set direction for resource planning, operating models, and capability development.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Product, and PMO. Communicate clearly and effectively on priorities, progress, risks, and mitigation actions.

Requirements:

• Proactive, meticulous, and adept at building effective relationships across various stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Social Science, Journalism or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of professional experience with a focus on financial markets. Candidates with a background in finance, operations, consulting with strong analytical, presentation and communication skill.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
