This position is within the Digital Assets team within IBG1-Financial Institutions Group, covering a portfolio of digital asset native clients in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
The Successful candidate will be assigned a portfolio of digital assets clients operating across the Digital Asset Ecosystem and will be responsible to help grow this segment.
Lead ideation and execution of strategic initiatives to bring new offerings to better serve digital asset native clients.
Represent DBS in internal and external forums, promoting DBS as the go-to-bank for Digital Asset Ecosystems.
Deepen wallet share of the existing client portfolio and develop new client relationships based on target market criteria and a selective due diligence process.
Responsible for achieving revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.
Perform client visits and calls regularly with the aim of closing deals across DBS product/service offerings by GTS (Cash & Custody), GFM / IB and Digital Exchange offerings in accordance with clients' requirements.
Takes ownership of end-to-end delivery to meet clients' requirement.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs and good knowledge of our Bank's products by working closely with risk, product & credit partners in providing suitable banking solutions to our clients.
Responsible for minimizing credit, operational and Legal and Compliance risks within assigned portfolio.
Ability to triangulate Tradfi application
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with relevant disciplines
7-10 years' relevant experience as Relationship Manager
Good knowledge of the Digital Asset Ecosystem across service providers, intermediaries, issuers, investors, financial services, and technology providers (e.g. custodians, software as a service, surveillance, mining etc.)
Resourceful individual with an ability to partner to deliver for the Digital Asset Ecosystem
Up to date with fast-paced industry changes and narratives
Previous experience in the digital asset industry is an advantage
Bilingual (English & Mandarin / Cantonese) is highly preferred
Open minded but anchored with professional integrity
Outgoing with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership, result oriented
