Settlement AVP - Foreign Securities Firm

A well-known foreign securities firm is looking for an AVP to join their settlement team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in fixed income settlement and a strong knowledge of trade processing.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the daily operations, including executing trade entry, verification, and confirmation of fixed-income products
• Execute trade processing and prepare settlement instructions using clearing platforms
• Follow up with counter-parties on any pending unsigned confirmations as necessary
• Communicate with both internal and external parties regarding any issues or inquiries related to settlement
• Document trades in appropriate systems while adhering to established procedures.
• Ensure timely and precise monitoring and settlement of all trade transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in clearing and settlement, within securities or brokerage firms preferred
• Experience with settlement systems such as CCASS, DCASS, and Euroclear.
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives and/or structured products is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
