Settlement - VP

A well-reputed securities firm is looking for a VP to join their Operations team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in hands-on trade processing and settlement experience across various products.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the management of post-trade processing, settlements, reconciliation and payment process

• Settlement experience in Equity, FICC, OTC etc

• Support monitoring activities for detecting discrepancies or processing issues, quickly identifying and resolving discrepancies, and ensuring smooth processing.

• Continuously evaluate and upgrade internal policies to boost departmental productivity

• Maintain rigorous adherence to industry regulations and internal control frameworks.

• Lead automation projects and provide hands-on support for system upgrades, including UAT and deployment.

• Assist in the successful launch of new products by establishing robust workflows and resource planning.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience within securities brokerage or wealth management.

• Excellent knowledge in securities product and settlement process

• Technical fluency in securities trade processing system

• Fluency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
