Settlement/Operations (Type 1,4,9)

Role Summary

A specialized Settlement Operations role focusing on securities transactions, corporate actions, and market operations across Hong Kong, US, and China stock markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for activities including daily settlement operation, including securities, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement, TRS and other CCASS operations
• Perform account opening in completing KYC review and related documentation
• Monitor and ensure the smoothness of settlements, especially corporate action for HK, US and China Stock Market
• Liaise with trading counterparties to resolve any settlement-related issues efficiently
• Client, Exchange, and broker trade and position reconciliation
• Perform system UAT and raise changed request for system implementation
• Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or related business discipline
• 2-3 years of settlement operational experience in securities or brokerage firms
• Strong understanding of settlement processes in Hong Kong and international markets

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in MS Excel, with preferred knowledge of Excel VBA, Python, and AI technologies
• Trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
