Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior On-site IT Desktop Support Technician to join. The ideal candidate will provide on-site technical support to staff, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with maintaining IT infrastructure. This role will involve working closely with IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technology used within the organization while adhering to ITIL standards and SLA on ticket resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site technical support to staff for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Keep accurate records of hardware and software inventory and documentation.
• Help maintain and troubleshoot network connectivity and related issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team to identify and resolve IT-related problems following ITIL standards.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of IT security measures.
• Ensure that all IT equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
• Provide training and support to staff on basic IT procedures and software applications.
• Document and update technical procedures and user guides.
• Adhere to SLA on ticket resolution and provide timely and accurate updates.

Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking principles and protocols.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and other common business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a technical support role is a plus.

Salary:

• $17000-21000

• Mon – Fri 0900-1800
