Your new role

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications used by internal and external users.
Participate in the full software development life cycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
Build and enhance front-end interfaces and back-end services to deliver seamless user experiences.
Collaborate closely with product, business, and technology teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
Contribute to system architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Explore new technologies and best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality.

What you'll need to succeed

Around 3 years of software development experience, either commercially or through substantial personal/open-source projects.
Strong programming skills in Java and experience with modern backend frameworks.
Exposure to front-end development using technologies such as React, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Understanding of databases, API development, and application integration.
Exposure to tools and technologies such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Node.js, or Azure DevOps would be beneficial.
Passion for technology and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Good communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
