Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

Develop data driven business insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth
Establish and uphold optimal data management standards and practices
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver data driven outcomes
Evaluate and streamline operational workflows using data driven approach and identify opportunities for process optimization
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to present business insights
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business and data analysis

Requirements

Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Administration
Minimum 8 years' solid experience in business analytics and quantitative analysis, particularly in banking operations and/or AML/CFT
Strong data management and analytical skills with ability to collect, organize and interpret large datasets, and apply statistical and data modelling techniques
Good problem solving, communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as VBA, SAS, Excel, Python and other statistical software
Good understanding of technology tools especially in relation to analytics, data & statistical modelling
