Sponsor Principal, Investment Banking

Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives and oversee team management, driving substantial contributions to the firm’s overall performance.
• Involve in determining the breadth and depth of the due diligence review
• Expected to be fully conversant with the key issues in each sponsorship appointment
• Foster cross-departmental collaboration with Risk Management, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure operations align with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, risk management protocols, and industry best practices.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients and key stakeholders to enhance business growth and trust.
• Manage ad-hoc projects and contribute strategic insights to support the firm’s long-term objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate finance or investment banking. Candidates with deep expertise in the semiconductor industry are preferred.
• Licensed as a Principal for Type 6 regulated activity (Advising on Corporate Finance) under the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
• Extensive expertise in capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry guidelines, with a strong track record in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital market transactions.
• Thorough understanding of investment banking regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
