Our client is a well-established and fast-growing commercial banking group with a strong presence in Hong Kong. This role involves serving as a product specialist within the corporate banking division, focusing on structured finance. The position is critical in providing tailored lending solutions and supporting relationship managers with technical expertise to execute complex structured loans effectively.

Role Overview:
The purpose of this role is to act as the technical expert and strategic partner in origination and deal structuring of bespoke corporate loans, supporting the organisation’s growth in local markets through innovative product solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum of 3–5+ years of experience in Corporate Banking, especially within Structured Finance, Corporate Lending, or Credit Execution.
• Deep technical knowledge of the end-to-end loan origination and execution process.
• Proven track record in handling structured corporate loans, particularly bespoke transactions.
• Strong product-oriented and solution-driven mindset, with an interest in deal-structuring and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent financial analysis, credit writing, and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the full lifecycle of structured loan transactions, including financial modeling, risk assessment, drafting term sheets, and legal documentation.
• Support relationship managers in identifying structured lending opportunities within existing and prospective corporate portfolios.
• Participate in client meetings to understand complex financing needs and present tailored loan solutions.
• Monitor market trends, structure transactions to mitigate credit risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Continuously refine and optimize corporate loan products to maintain competitiveness.

Requirements:
• Eligible to work in Hong Kong and fluent in English and Chinese.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking or structured finance.
• Proven expertise in bespoke structured loans, with less emphasis on large-scale syndicated loans.
• On-site availability in Hong Kong for daily operations.

Nice to Have (Optional):
• Experience with related skills such as trade finance or bank corporate products.
