Position Overview

Within Global Market Department, structuring team is responsible for customizing complex financial instruments to meet the specific needs of clients, involving activities such as marketing derivatives products, providing market analysis and trading ideas, offering indicative pricing, and delivering structured product solutions.

The role will involve regular interaction with sales, trading and control teams. A good part of the role involves developing ideas, expanding the boundaries of what is possible through working with trading / sales / control functions. In addition, attention to detail is critical given the focus on understanding complex legal documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and structure derivative products.
• Analyze market trends and financial data to identify investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales and trading teams to customize products according to client needs.
• Present and explain structured products to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Draft and review documentation for structured products.
• Liaise with legal and compliance teams to ensure product viability.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Proactive learner with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Prior knowledge and experience of derivatives is a plus
