Pay\: HK$15,589 to HK$29,022 (HGPS Pt 0 to Pt 10) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist to carry out procurement and materials management activities in accordance with the Hospital Authority Procurement and Materials Management Manual which including but not limited to assets, logistics, inventory management, license renewal, equipment maintenance, and condemnation.
2. Carry out general administrative duties and clerical support that includes filing, data entry and compile statistics with analysis and record keeping for the daily operation of the department.
3. Coordinate and handle enquiries, requests, liaise and communicate with staff and supplier, including to handle minor feedback and complaints with relevant departments.
4. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements
1. Serving staff in the substantive rank of Supplies Attendant with at least 2 years of satisfactory service in that rank.
OR
2. Having completed Form 4/ Secondary 4, or equivalent; AND
3. Able to write Chinese and solve arithmetical problems and speak and write English at a standard equivalent to Form 4/ Secondary 4.
Preferred Attributes
1. Post-secondary education with relevant subjects in supply chain management, logistics management and inventory management.
2. Working experience and exposure in
(i) logistics/supplies chain/warehouse operation management;
(ii) supplies of medical consumables and personal protection equipment.
3. Knowledge in the application of common computer software including Microsoft Office.
4. Familiar with the Enterprise Resource Planning System of Hospital Authority and I.T. applications will be an advantage.
5. Good verbal and communication skills in English and Chinese.
6. Strong team spirit, able to work independently and under pressure and accomplish tasks within tight schedule, and dedicated to quality service.
7. Knowledge of Hospital Authority’s corporate systems and processes related to procurement and materials management including but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning System and Enterprise Assets Management.
