Description
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a wide range of products, taking into account factors such as historical sales data, market trends, production plans, and customer orders.
- Collaborate with Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to establish optimal inventory targets and replenishment plans, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time and location.
- Analyze inventory data, identify trends and patterns, and implement strategies to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
- Monitor and respond to changes in demand, adjusting inventory plans and production schedules accordingly to maintain a healthy balance between supply and demand.
- Coordinate with regional sales teams and customers to understand market-specific dynamics and incorporate their insights into the planning process.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools and techniques to generate reports, visualizations, and key performance indicators to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 2 yeas of experience as a Supply Planner, Demand Planner or in a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets
- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Familiarity with ERP systems and demand planning modules is a plus
