System Analyst (Trade Finance)

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze business needs to understand their requirements with stakeholders.
• Design application software and develop functional and technical specifications.
• Ensure the development align with bank standards and guidelines.
• Ensure the software development progress is in accordance to the schedule with good quality
• Evaluate software packages.
• Conduct installation, testing, maintenance of computer programs.
• Provide technical support to maintain the smooth 24 hours round the clock operation (including Disaster Recovery Site support) within the bank.
• Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure the timely delivery of products and services
• Identify root causes of issues and drive effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Maintaining production system stability to ensure uninterrupted operations and high performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant disciplines
• Over 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in banking or financial service industry
• Strong logical thinking, attention to details, well organized and solution oriented
• Strong problem-solving skills and think out of the box.
• Hand-on experience in Java, C# and Linux scripting
• Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server etc)
• Experience in vendor management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Exposure on Trade Finance business is advantages.
