Job Description - System Engineer - Banking/FSI

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, administer, and support middleware platforms, including Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat.
Provide system administration and operational support for Windows and Linux servers
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure stable operations
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution
Support system patching, upgrades, and security hardening
Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams
Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities when required

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT/ related field
5 years of experience in system support and infrastructure roles; candidates with less experience will also be considered
Hands-on experience with Apache and Tomcat middleware administration
Solid experience supporting Windows and Linux operating systems
Basic scripting or automation knowledge is an advantage.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Experience in banking or financial services is highly preferred.
