Job Description - Talent Acquisition Head (Financial Services)

An influential and stable multinational financial organization is currently seeking a highly experienced and confident leader in Talent Acquisition to join their team. Reporting to the SVP, HR, you will be responsible for leading the talent acquisition team to achieve success. This includes building and fostering a high-performing team, as well as driving effective recruitment strategies that align with the organization's goals. You will also conduct hands on recruitment for executive positions, actively engaging top tier candidates to join the organization.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and HRBP to understand talent requirements and drive innovative recruitment approaches ensuring the acquisition of top-tier talent.
  • Provide strong leadership to the talent acquisition team, fostering high performance, professional growth, and acknowledging achievements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the talent acquisition function, staying agile and adapting strategies to meet evolving organizational needs and market dynamics.
  • Take ownership of creating and executing highly effective talent acquisition strategies that closely align with the organization's hiring objectives, resulting in efficient and effective recruitment outcomes.
  • Continually assess and refine talent acquisition processes to optimize recruitment outcomes, enhancing efficiency, quality, and overall effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Degree qualification or above in related discipline with a minimum of 10+ years of experience of solid talent acquisition experience in both in-house and consultancy roles, preferably within financial services organizations.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring, motivating, and developing a high-performing recruitment team.
  • Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management abilities, proven by a track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and influence candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Display a results-driven approach with a strong commercial mindset. Confident in driving key initiatives leveraging innovative approaches.
  • Strong learning ability and adaptability to new concepts and evolving circumstances.
  • Language proficiency in Cantonese and English is a must.
