Job Description - Team Head of Compensation and Benefits, Reputable Chinese Bank

Your new company

A reputable Chinese Bank is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join their Human Resources team as a Section Head of Compensation & Benefits. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the bank's C&B strategy and managing a dedicated team.

Your new role

Lead and manage the Compensation & Benefits team to deliver high-quality HR services.
Develop, implement, and maintain reward policies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee annual bonus schemes, salary reviews, and performance appraisal processes.
Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits matters to senior management.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and group office requirements.
Collaborate closely with the Group Office, requiring frequent communication in Chinese.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Proven working experience in the banking sector with strong exposure to HR practices.
Solid knowledge of Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) rules and guidelines related to HR.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a small team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is essential due to frequent interaction with the Group Office.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
