Job Description - Team Lead, Compliance (Personal banking)

Your new company

Your new role

Provide regulatory compliance advisory support to Personal Banking business on products, services, and initiatives
Ensure compliance with HKMA regulations, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Review and advise on new product launches, marketing materials, and business initiatives
Liaise with regulators and manage regulatory enquiries, inspections, and reporting
Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify potential regulatory gaps
Support policy development, regulatory updates, and implementation of control frameworks
Collaborate with stakeholders across business, legal, and risk functions

What you'll need to succeed

Solid experience in regulatory compliance within retail / personal banking
Strong knowledge of HKMA regulations and retail banking products
Experience in advisory and stakeholder management
Familiarity with regulatory engagement, audits, and compliance reviews
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Degree holder in relevant discipline
