Job Description
Job Summary**
UOB Hong Kong is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead, Senior Client Advisor for Private Banking. This role involves leading a team of client advisors, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, and driving business growth within the private banking sector.
Job Responsibilities**
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Private Banking Client Advisors to achieve individual and team sales targets and service excellence.
* Develop and implement strategies to expand the private banking client base and increase assets under management (AUM).
* Proactively acquire, manage, and deepen relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families, understanding their financial needs and providing comprehensive wealth management solutions.
* Advise clients on a wide range of financial products and services, including investments, wealth planning, lending, and trust services.
* Ensure adherence to all internal policies, compliance regulations, and external regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with product specialists, investment advisors, and other internal stakeholders to deliver holistic client solutions.
* Monitor market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine client strategies.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
* Act as a brand ambassador for UOB Hong Kong's private banking services.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with at least 3 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
* Proven track record of successfully acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
* Strong knowledge of investment products, wealth planning strategies, and global financial markets.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships and motivate a team.
* Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the banking industry in Hong Kong.
* Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential.
* Holder of relevant HKMA/SFC licenses (Type 1, 4 regulated activities) is required.
* Holder of ECF on Private Wealth Management (PWM) accredited by Private Wealth.

The MRC Scheme aims to strengthen integrity and transparency in the banking industry and prevent the recurrence of misconduct across institutions. All reference checks will be carried out in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
