Job Description - Tech Risk Analyst - Bank / Insurance

Job Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining information security strategies, policies and guidelines
Provide security guidance and support to business and technical teams
Participate in risk assessment reviews for new and existing IT initiatives by evaluating security architecture and conducting basic threat modelling.
Support cybersecurity controls assessment and help troubleshoot security issues across different technologies.
Conduct research on emerging security threats and technology trends, including AI, cloud, big data and mobile

Requirements

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
1-3 years' experience in information technology, information security, risk management, compliance or IT audit
Experience in banking or the financial industry is highly preferred.
Possession of or willingness to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CISA)
Basic understanding of security architecture, regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices
Good analytical, communication and report-writing skills, with a strong desire to learn and grow in cybersecurity
