Technical Assistant (23240665)

The appointee is expected to provide technical support to Academy of Film. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing equipment stock, equipment routine check in/out and room booking;
• Providing technical support for classes, students and staff;
• Providing technical support and maintenance for facilities, such as TV Studio, Computer Labs, Sound Studio, Multi-function Screening Room, etc.;
• Conducting equipment and facilities demonstration for classes and students;
• Providing technical support for events and activities of the Academy; and
• Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• At least 5 passes in HKCEE, and with preferably some specialised training beyond the secondary level, e.g., a recognised certificate or diploma in related discipline; 
• Preferably two years of relevant work experience; 
• Knowledge in audio/visual equipment and facilities, TV studio operation and maintenance, and maintenance of computer labs and sound studio;
• Experience in equipment management;
• A fast learner and is willing to work overtime; and
• Good communication skill. 

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of one to two years commencing as soon as possible. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
