Overview
Our client is a well-established financial institution in Hong Kong. They are looking a highly experienced Technical Network Project Manager to drive critical trading network initiatives within a fast-paced, solution-focused environment. This is a senior role designed for a proactive leader with deep technical expertise in network engineering and architecture, exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, and a strong background in the financial services domain. This role fills a key functional gap within the network team and plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering next-generation trading network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery
  • Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale network initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, execution frameworks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination with Real Estate, Data Centre, Server, Storage, and Network teams.
  • Maintain high-speed execution in a mission-critical environment.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Manage multiple vendors, partners, and service providers with strong commercial and delivery oversight.
  • Ensure SLA compliance, negotiate deliverables, and escalate issues to drive timely resolution.
  • Influence stakeholders across business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines.
Technical & Architectural Oversight
  • Review, validate, and challenge network architecture designs, configurations, and technical documents.
  • Provide expert guidance on network engineering principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Bridge technical and business needs to ensure solution design meets trading system requirements.
Experience & Qualifications

Essential
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and/or network architecture.
  • Proven track record as a Technical Project Manager in complex enterprise or financial services environments.
  • Strong background in trading networks, data centers, and high-availability infrastructure.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills.
  • Certifications such as CCIE or CCNP (highly preferred).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, leading projects from planning to delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in banking or financial markets infrastructure environments.
  • Prior exposure to mission-critical, low-latency trading networks.
