Technologist - Operations Background

Job Description

• Enhance and/or automate trading operations systems and workflows to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Own major operational incidents end-to-end: diagnose root cause, drive resolution, and prevent recurrence.
• Partner with Operations and Development teams to investigate and resolve complex live production issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and Operations to design, integrate, and operationalize backend workflows that enable onboarding new products and business initiatives.
• Automate manual processes by building practical, maintainable scripts and internal tools.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to processes, tools, and workflows.
• Provide occasional after-hours support as needed and participate in testing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 3–8 years of experience in trading support or a comparable technical role.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and hands-on experience with Python.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and deliver measurable results as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Practical, builder mindset with a passion for developing simple, scalable automation solutions.
• Proactive attitude and ability to improve systems in real-world production environments.
