Job Description - Test Lead

Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end QA delivery for assigned projects

Set up QA processes and create testing playbooks

Review and conduct walkthroughs of test strategy and test plans with stakeholders

Prepare effort estimates and testing strategy for new enhancements

Identify and support onboarding of required hardware and software for testing

Coordinate with offshore testers and provide guidance on deliverables

Design and execute test cases

Own defect management activities and conduct defect triage

Review testing artifacts including test scenarios, test cases, defects, and execution logs

Review root cause analysis for defects

Follow up on testing and infrastructure-related issues

Drive and facilitate testing-related meetings including status reviews and walkthroughs

Prepare and share testing status reports

Qualifications and Skills:

8-12 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

Proven experience working as a Test Lead

Experience in OpenText testing

Experience in API and integration testing

Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and JIRA

Exposure to test automation

Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect management

Experience coordinating with offshore testing teams

Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills

Proficiency in English and Cantonese
