What You''ll Do

Underwriting and Porfilio Management 

• Evaluate and underwrite risks in Agriculture reinsurance market aligning company guidelines.
• Perform risk accumulation tracking for portfolios.

Wording Management

• Perform contract wording review and analysis.
• Conduct Risk boundary analysis to ensure that no hidden risk or implicit risk is exposed to. 

Wording Management

• Stay abreast on the latest policies and agricultural insurance coverages.
• Perform Market data mining and BI analysis, as well as benchmark policy level protection to best practice.

Product Innovations

• Conduct product and policy research and product protection adequacy analysis.
• Engage in new product design and pricing.

Business Lifecycle Management

• Perform regular reports, as well as properly manage and maintain treaty database
• Support on market team in events as required

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in insurance underwriting, product development or treaty underwriting.
• Strong Knowledge of different natural hazards with good understanding of scenarios of catastrophic damage especially for agriculture related disasters.
• Proficient in data cleaning, data organizing, and data management.
• Good understanding of Agriculture insurance markets and policy structures.
• Good understanding of Agriculture treaty market and reinsurance treaties.
• Experience in business tendering and product pricing is a plus
• Experience in treaty pricing or catastrophe modelling would be advantageous.
• Strong logical thinking capability, with good analytical skill and structured reporting skills.
• Client oriented, able to follow guide to complete assigned tasks on time.
• Strong MS Excel skill, with experience in data visualization is a plus (Python, R, IDL etc).
