Job Description - Trader - FX Options

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic FX & Options Trader to join our Global Markets team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing foreign exchange and options trading activities, ensuring profitability while adhering to risk and compliance standards. This role requires strong market knowledge, quantitative skills, and the ability to develop trading strategies aligned with the bank's objectives

Your New Role:

Execute FX spot, forwards, and options trades across major and emerging market currencies.
Manage proprietary and client-driven positions within approved risk limits.
Monitor global macroeconomic trends, interest rates, and volatility to identify trading opportunities.
Develop and implement short-term and medium-term trading strategies for FX and options.
Provide pricing and market color to sales teams and clients.

What you'll need to succeed:

Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FX and/or options trading within a bank or financial institution.
Strong understanding of FX markets, derivatives pricing, and risk management principles.
Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, and trading platforms; programming skills (Python/VBA) a plus.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills under pressure.
Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is an advantage.
