Trading Support - HFT Firm

What You'll Do:

• Take ownership of critical incidents by identifying root causes, mitigating impacts, and leading post-mortem reviews to prevent future occurrences.
• Ensure the smooth operation of distributed, multi-server trading systems.
• Serve as the primary expert for traders, providing hands-on support on the trading floor and direct application assistance.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and manage production software releases to maintain system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Design and implement effective monitoring and logging solutions to enhance system reliability and visibility.
• Automate and optimize workflows by developing scripts and tools that drive operational excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying gaps and recommending better processes or tools.
• Participate in occasional after-hours support and testing as needed to ensure seamless operations.

What You Bring:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in trading support or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in Linux environments and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, or PHP).
• A proven ability to drive change and achieve results in a collaborative environment.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A passion for automation and building scalable, standards-based solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
