Job Description - Transformation Lead, WPB South Asia
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Transformation Lead, WPB South Asia.
Reporting into Transformation Planning & Delivery Lead, IWPB Asia, the primary role of the Transformation Lead, IWPB Asia is to shape, plan, drive and deliver strategic change management initiatives for Asia IWPB's markets. The role holder will have responsibility for ensuring market and regional level governance for those initiatives. This is enabled through establishing an effective interface between the Asia market business teams and the Global and Regional IWPB Product and Value Streams.
In this role you will:
Plan, coordinate and drive strategic initiatives for the Asia markets covering business optimization, cost efficiency, streamlining, digitization of customer journey and processes
Build strong relationships with market executive team, influence and manage global/regional stakeholders and be a trusted advisor to achieve strategic transformation outcomes and delivery prudence.
Evaluate and advise on business cases for strategic transformation resulting in commercial benefits for the market/s
Facilitate overall funding management for the transformation initiatives
Establish a holistic planning, governance and reporting framework for funded initiatives
Ensure a comprehensive delivery oversight of the in-scope initiatives with focus on understanding and effective resolution of issues through stakeholder management
Oversee all initiative level risks and issues, lead and coordinate resolution, preempt and ensure timely escalation, across stakeholder matrix,
Ensure compliance with internal policies, Identify areas for scaled delivery across different markets across the region
Embrace innovative approaches where appropriate and challenge where necessary to ensure best overall customer and business outcomes.
Build self-knowledge across several different businesses and product lines and functions and bringing different parts of the organization together to deliver strategy.
Operate at management level, working across global businesses and regions and maintain a global perspective on business transformation.
Support capability uplift, best practice sharing in collaboration among team members
To be successful you will need:
University degree holder with experience in digital environment in managing large-scale, complex change programmes, within financial services industry.
Direct experience of managing Transformation / Tech project delivery
Direct experience in business and/or technology consulting
Experience in managing C-Suite level stakeholders
Experience in preparing and running Market level program governance meetings
Expert in modern change methodologies including but not limited to design-led change, agile, lean etc.
Excellent relationship management and influencing skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in productivity and collaboration tools, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders based on a good understanding of their objectives and the services they require to meet those objectives
Ability to think innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving
Experience on IWPB Market level product / business management experience is preferred
Knowledge on HSBC IWPB delivery governance framework & process (e.g. change management, risk management cost management) is preferred
