Job Description - UIUX Team Leader

Our client is a reputable wealth management platform in Hong Kong, with a strong focus on global wealth and asset management solutions. They are now building a B2B digital platform that enables business partners and clients to discover financial products via web and mobile channels.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall UI/UX design direction for the B2B platform, from user flow, information architecture, and interaction design to visual delivery.
Partner closely with product, business, and technology teams to translate complex financial and operational requirements into clear and intuitive digital experiences.
Oversee the design team to ensure high-quality delivery, efficient collaboration, and consistent design standards across key projects.
Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and visual guidelines to improve consistency, scalability, and reuse.
Contribute to product strategy by providing user-centered design recommendations that balance business goals, user needs, compliance, and platform scalability.
Support end-to-end product development, from discovery and wireframing to prototyping, testing, design review, and launch support.
Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure design solutions can be effectively implemented by engineering and business stakeholders.
Foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement within the design team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or above in Design, HCI, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
5-10 years of UI/UX or product design experience, with team leadership experience preferred.
Strong experience in B2B, financial services, wealth management, investment platforms, fintech, or other complex digital products.
Solid understanding of user-centered design, design systems, and responsive web/mobile product design.
Strong ability to simplify complex product logic and financial product journeys into elegant user experiences.
Good business sense, with the ability to balance user needs, brand standards, commercial objectives, and technical constraints.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
Fluent in English and Chinese is preferred.

Preferred

Experience in related to wealth management, investment, banking, securities, or digital brokerage platforms.
Experience working with Hong Kong or tech team in China or oversea.
Familiarity with design systems, data visualization, or AI-assisted design workflows.
Background from leading technology or internet companies is an advantage.
