Job Description

As a Investment VC Associate, your main responsibilities will include:

Reporting: Prepare and deliver investment recommendations and performance updates to senior leadership.
Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, market and competitor analysis, and assessment of management teams.
Portfolio Management: Support and monitor portfolio companies post-investment by offering strategic guidance, facilitating business development, and ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives.
Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments such as legal, finance, and operations to ensure seamless execution of investment strategies.
Deal Structuring: Assist in negotiating and structuring investment deals, including drafting term sheets and finalizing legal documentation.
Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities through market research, trend analysis, and company assessments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Investment VC Associate should have:

Bachelor's degree from global top tier university in finance, business, economics, or a related discipline.
2-6 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a similar field.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis. Ability to evaluate the financial health and growth potential of target companies.
Strong understanding of relevant industry sectors, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
Demonstrated experience in conducting in-depth due diligence processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
Business-level fluency in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in Cantonese or another Asian language is an advantage.
