Vice President, Cash Trading Operations

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily team operations to maintain market and platform stability.
• Drive innovation and transformation within the team's workflows by overseeing and actively participating in the development and implementation of automation solutions utilizing a range of tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to support the effective implementation of project initiatives related to cash trading. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting impact assessments, specifying system change requirements, and participating in the testing of relevant updates.
• Build and maintain an expert level of knowledge in the cash market products and trading arrangements.
• Develop, review and maintain SEHK rulebooks, internal policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• University Degree in a reputable institution, preferably in Finance/ Economics/ Business Administration / Computer Science or related disciplines
• 10+ years operational and technical related experience in well-established financial institutions, of which at least 3 years at management/ supervisory level
• Essential experience and knowledge in automation tools
• Preferably familiar with the Hong Kong securities market, Stock Connect trading, and project management
• Innovative, agile, and growth-minded
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
