Vice President, IT Applications (Trade Finance & Custodian)

Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team of talented individuals to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable plans
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure the timely delivery of products and services
• Collect user requirements effectively and perform in-depth analysis to drive project success
• Identify root causes of issues and drive effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Develop, coach and mobilize the team to achieve specific software development goals. Take part in the actual development work when necessary
• Maintaining production system stability to ensure uninterrupted operations and high performance
• Evaluate, identify potential challenges and develop contingency plan to minimize business risks
• Ensure effective communication in place between users and IT team members within project and also cross projects
• Maintain up-to-date project file and ensure the design work are well documented

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology.
• Certified PMP is preferable
• At least 15 years' experience in application software development with at least 5 years’ solid experience on supporting trade finance / custodian business.
• At least 7 years in project management and people management.
• At least 5 years’ experience to manage vendor in project delivery and package maintenance and support.
• Preferable with experience to manage multiple sub-teams serving different business domain area.
• Solid experience and knowledge on various banking applications and technologies
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge in trade finance / custodian business and products is preferred
• Solid regulatory and compliance experience combined with project management capabilities
• Proven ability to manage multi-tasks and multiple projects simultaneously
