About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Engineer to join our fast-growing FinTech team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade virtualisation and infrastructure environments that support mission-critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware-based virtualisation environments
Maintain and optimise infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking layers
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware and software platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient FinTech solutions
Create and maintain clear technical documentation and procedures

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT industry
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies, including:
- VMware
- Cisco
- Dell
- NetApp / PureStorage
- Microsoft and RedHat operating systems
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Data Center Virtualization (required)
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

Additional VMware certifications (Cloud Management & Automation, Desktop & Mobility, Network Virtualisation)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
