About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Engineer to join our fast-growing FinTech team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade virtualisation and infrastructure environments that support mission-critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage VMware-based virtualisation environments
  • Maintain and optimise infrastructure across compute, storage, and networking layers
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across hardware and software platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient FinTech solutions
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the IT industry
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure technologies, including:
    • VMware
    • Cisco
    • Dell
    • NetApp / PureStorage
    • Microsoft and RedHat operating systems
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) - Data Center Virtualization (required)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Additional VMware certifications (Cloud Management & Automation, Desktop & Mobility, Network Virtualisation)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification
  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
