The Role

VP, Derivatives Product Manager, Equity Sales & Derivatives

Key Accountabilities

• Perform daily advisory and dealing functions on equity derivatives products in a timely and accurate manner;
• Provide trade execution support for sales team, and collaboration with different stakeholders internal and externally;
• Perform routine product due diligence and product risk assessment according to regulatory standards and internal guideline;
• Provide market briefing, product advisory and training on derivatives products;
• Handle the daily operational processes and periodic reporting for the dealing team;
• Lead process reengineering projects and ad hoc problem solving requests on the product life cycle.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in dealing or related work experience, proven experience on OTC equity products is required; candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Degree holder in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent;
• In-depth understanding of equity derivative products; strong awareness of market trends and economic outlook;
• Proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, competent in VBA is preferred;
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Mandarin is preferred.
