Responsibilities
This role provides comprehensive COO Business Management coverage for GFM across Sales, Trading, and Fixed Income businesses, with a primary focus on Business Management & Production Support (BM Production).
Provide BM Production support to sales, trading and FI desks, addressing day-to-day activities and resolving production / operational issues across GFM
Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders to identify, analyze and resolve problems, and lead the change initiatives
Manage ad-hoc incidents and changes effectively, acting as a business lead to liaise with other support, control, and business units to drive GFM initiatives
Conduct reviews and ongoing improvements of existing internal controls to ensure sound controls are in place for products/processes and regulatory compliance
Manage the day-to-day team operations and lead team members to achieve business goals
Drive the adoption of automation and data tools to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency
Represent the COO Office in committees, regional forums, or meetings
Perform other necessary tasks as required to meet various business and control needs
Requirements
Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in Global Markets, Treasury or related fields
In-depth knowledge of derivatives and structured products within the GFM business, including spot, forwards, options, swaps, repos and structured products
Comprehensive understanding of GFM end-to-end transaction flows and associated risk areas (e.g., regulatory, capital, market risk, credit risk, settlement)
Familiarity with treasury products, systems, and operational models
Strong team leadership and people management experience are highly preferred
Ability to handle and resolve issues within tight timelines
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams effectively to meet deadlines
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strong risk and control mindset
Experience with automation tools (g. VBA, Python, MS Power Automate) is a plus
