VP/Director, Product Development - ETF

Our client is a well-established asset management firm with strong regional and international presence, offering a diverse range of investment solutions across equities, fixed income, and ETF strategies. The firm is known for its robust investment platform, strong research capabilities, and commitment to delivering innovative products to institutional and retail investors. They are hiring VP/Director, Product Development, ETF.

Responsibilities

Manage the development, launch, and lifecycle management of mutual funds and ETFs aligned with company objectives and market trends.

Prepare documentation for product approvals and regulatory filings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including investment, sales, compliance, operations, and marketing, to ensure successful product delivery.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities and enhancements.

Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in client meetings and industry conferences to gather insights and promote products.

Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of product development experience in the asset management industry, specifically with mutual funds and ETFs with exposure to Hong Kong Unit Trusts, OFC, Cayman structures and UCITs.

Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) and English, with excellent communication skills in both languages.

Solid understanding of the industry, including product innovation, regulatory environment, and market trends.

Familiarity with the Hong Kong and Chinese asset management regulatory landscape is a plus.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated team player with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Salary:
